DWIGHT DAVIDSON SCULPTURE

I sculpt using high-fired clay as my
principal medium which includes
the
use of photographic and graphic
images printed directly onto wet clay
The resulting
sculpture is then fired to between 2000 to 2350 degrees F.
I also
produce many of my sculptures as limited edition bronze.
The predominant subject matter of my
clay and bronze sculpture
is of animals which
I use to mirror a
parody of ourselves. The
artifact
project
is an ongoing conceptual sculptural work that I started in 1986.
Recently, I have
been working on a series of photo montages.
